Changing technologies, growing customer demands, digitalisation and internationalisation: Development in the industries that use Sesotec solutions is progressing rapidly and creating a steady stream of new challenges for people. As a result, transferring knowledge to the right stakeholders is extremely important.
 

Our programme: three types of training

The majority of our products are installed for testing purposes at our test centres in Germany, Singapore, China, the United States, Italy and India, and they are operable at any time. We regularly offer practical training courses here for different target groups and needs:


Product and application training

is designed for anyone involved with the distribution of Sesotec products. Such courses provide information about Sesotec, our products and their fields of application with regard to contaminant detection/product inspection and product sorting/sorting technology.

 

Operational and service training

is designed for customers as well as for employees of Sesotec and Sesotec agencies. Such courses provide information about the use, configuration, operation and maintenance of our products, ranging from general technological fundamentals to detailed software, interface and optimisation options. The courses have two different levels (basic/advanced) and are available for each of our four business units (Product Inspection Food, Product Inspection Plastics/Non-Food, Sorting Recycling and Sorting Food).

Our current training offers

Basic training on metal detection technology: We make you fit for the use of Sesotec metal detectors!

 

Seminar description

In "Basics of Metal Detection" you will gain a valuable understanding of metal detection in general and our Sesotec technology in particular. You will also learn the necessary behaviour for handling metal detection systems. In this way, you will be well prepared for the safe performance of your tasks with and around metal detectors.

 

Seminar contents

  • Design and operating principle of a metal detector
  • Factors influencing detection accuracy
  • Impurities - To what extent do the type, shape and position of foreign bodies play a role?
  • Environmental influences - What should be considered?
  • Product effect/compensation - What factors influence detection accuracy and how can I counteract them?
  • Checking/defining the test bodies - How do I reliably carry out the tests to find out the smallest detectable ball sizes?

Target group

The training content is aimed at people who come into contact with metal detectors.

Basic training on X-ray technology: We support you in using the RAYCON product inspection system!

 

Seminar description

In our training course "Basics of X-ray Technology" you will learn the necessary know-how about technology, equipment set-up and measuring procedures. We will also train you in the necessary safety precautions and show you what is important when handling our RAYCON product inspection systems - especially with regard to the applications relevant to you.

  • Structure and functional principle of a Sesotec X-ray unit
  • Factors influencing detection accuracy
  • Contaminants - to what extent do the type, shape and position of foreign bodies play a role?
  • Safety precautions during installation and handling
  • Measurement procedures to determine the local dose rate at key control points
  • Specific know-how to optimise your applications for you

The training content is aimed at persons who come into contact with X-ray inspection equipment.
